Resplendent colour dancing in the sunshine, breathing light and sizzle into Carnival 2K7.

Popular band Tribe will capture all that and more with “Ole Time Something” costumes that are geared to provide kinetic energy and visual dazzle as masqueraders revel, prance, and jump-up in a delightfully romantic restrospective presentation.

And Tribe will be doing it next year with 17 sections, four of which, I’ve been told are already “sold out” to party animals who just can’t wait for the bell to ring.

Masqueraders will time-travel back to the ole time days when Jab Jab, Fancy Sailor, Jamette Woman, traditional costumes, to name a few, were dominant Carnival themes.

Designer Peter Elias (take a bow) has spun his creative skills in “Jean & Dinah” -- a section I think will go down big for Carnival 2K7.

I love all the sections in Tribe’s Ole Time Something Come Back Again, but the “Jean & Dinah” motif is definitely a win-win theme.
