MID-MORNING Friday earthquake rocked Trinidad at approximately 9.10
a.m.
The shaker was felt islandwide, and Tobago was said to be in a blackout
stage.
Reports had widespread damage to many buildings in the capital city
of Port of Spain.
Shaken and stirred, many office workers were evacuated throughout
the country.
At the Maritime Plaza in Barataria, a mandatory evacuation was in
effect and many workers were milling about the complex, surveying
the damage to the building. |
