A young mother is now being “held” in a “safe house” at the San Fernando General Hospital (SFGH) instead of returning her into the sexually abusive arms of her incestuous father.

The 22-year-old first-time mother from rural south, recently gave birth at the SFGH to a bouncing baby girl, fathered by her 52-year-old dad.

The baby was born in a nearby canefield after the pregnant young woman complained of feeling unwell and decided to go to a parlour to purchase Panadol.

Sources said it was while on her way, she felt “as if she wanted to go off” and ran into the canefield where she immediately gave birth.

A male relative reportedly later found her bleeding with the baby still attached to her and raised an alarm.

An Emergency Health Services (EHS) Ambulance reportedly rushed her to the SFGH where she and the baby were warded.

The fuming father meanwhile is demanding that the defiant hospital authorities with whom he has been pleading for several weeks, return his daughter into his care.

The 49-year-old hapless mother of the victim remains silent on the matter.

But concerned relatives are calling instead on Social Services to put him in the hands of the police.

“He must be locked up for the hell he has put his three daughters through over the years,” TnT Mirror was told.

The brand-new mom is said to be one of three sisters from a poverty stricken family who has been abused since she “was in Standard Five”.

According to investigations, the sex-hungry father also had sex with his 25-year-old and 19-year-old daughters.

“It’s really bad at the home,” the relative further disclosed.

“Imagine at nights a teenaged sister (name called) sleeps with two pants and as if that’s not bad enough, she puts on one back to front so that the zip could be at the back.”

Mirror was told that the teenager has runaway from home on several occasions because she cannot take it at times.

“Why must the girls suffer like this, they don’t deserve it,” added the emotional woman.

“These girls must be allowed to live their lives and not be sex slaves to their own father.”

Reports are that his wife is very much afraid of him.

“She knows everything but has to stay quiet.”

Mirror was told that the father often lured his daughters into his bed by ordering them to rub his foot.

“When they do as they were told he would hold them down and have sex with them.”

The source said the shameless father has expressed his anger over the fact that the hospital wouldn’t release his daughter and baby.

“He is annoyed,” she added, “how much more bold-faced could he get.” She, however, went on to slam the social workers at the SFGH for dragging their feet on an important issue like that.

“This incident took place since August and you tell me up to now no action has been taken against that nasty man,” she groaned.

“The facts are all there, a social worker is attached to the case and still nothing has happened up to this point.

“We wait to see what will come out of this one,” she ended.

Mirror was unable to obtain a comment from the SFGH on the matter.
