A
FELICITY man has painted his front wall to show support for the
Soca Warriors.
Ganesh Sawh, of 27 Nolan Street, Felicity, said the painting was
done on June 8, two days before the match between Trinidad and Tobago
and Sweden last Saturday.
Sawh
told TnT Mirror he had a grocery previously and had used the wall
for advertisements.
He said the idea came to him to use the wall to show support for
the Soca Warriors.
Sawh said he was one of the 30,000 fans who cried when the then
Strike Squad lost one-nil to the United States of America (USA)
on November 19, 1989.
The Felicity man said his three children and wife are also into
sports and are strong supporters of the Soca Warriors.
Sawh used Weather Guard paint that would last a long time.
The total cost of the painting was $2,100.
But Sawh said the money was not a problem for him.
He had originally intended to paint the entire wall but did not
have the time.
