WEST
INDIES bowler Pedro Collins, who bagged four wickets in the first
innings of the second Test match against the visiting Indian side,
has been reprimanded for “excessive appealing.”
Collins, according to the International Cricket Council (ICC), pleaded
guilty to the charge to ICC Match Referee Jeff Crowe in a hearing
after play concluded in St. Lucia last Sunday.
Collins was found to have breached 1.5 of the ICC Code, or “the
practice of celebrating a dismissal before the decision has been
given.”
