and Tobago’s reigning Chutney Monarch’s arrival on the
Solomon Hochoy Highway last Thursday wasn’t met with the accustomed
cheers.
Instead, when Heeralal “Hero” Rampartap arrived, there
were flowing tears from close friends, relatives and co-workers
of a grass-cutter, who only minutes before was fatally knocked down
by a vehicle driven by Hero’s son, Kishal Rampartap.

dead man’s brother,

witnessed the death.
