Mout’ open, ’tory jump out

TWO female prisons recruits had a big cuss-out on the compound of the Arouca jail recently.

“In the main, the cuss-out was about who sleep with who senior prisons officer and for what,” another senior officer told TnT Mirror.

“It was like a fish-market brawl.”

He continued: “Apparently they were holding secrets for each other.

“One day one of them called the other on her cell phone and told her to cover for her since she had a date with a male recruit. The friend who received the call was supposed to tell the prisons supervisor that her friend reached Curepe and fell ill so she had returned home.

“However, other senior officers who were travelling on a prisons bus saw her liming in Curepe with the other recruit, so that was reported to the authorities.

“In addition, when her husband called on work to ask for her, a senior officer also told him she had been seen liming in Curepe and she did not report for duty.

“He is suspicious of his wife and in the past he has also called other recruits and even prisons officers to ask questions concerning her behaviour.

“In addition, since prisons officers are not supposed to have their cellphones with them on the job, the friend refused to relay the excuse for fear she could be disciplined for breaching prisons’ rules. The long and short of the story is that the two female recruits fell out over the incident, since the one who didn’t come in suspected that the other had also sold her out to her husband.

“And that is what caused the cuss-out, with one telling the other, ‘since you know I sleep with so and so prisons officer, what about the day when you sleep with so and so prisons officer.

“And the bacchanal just got nastier by the minute.

“It also got out that day that one instructor caught another instructor ‘making out’ in the conference room with a recruit.

“Well, I guess this is what it is like sometimes in the day in the life of the prison.”
