Against All Flags

A sewer for WASA’s Grimes

By RAMJOHN ALI

Without any further ado, the Flagsman wants to make a point straight off the backfoot, namely about this failed excuse for a CEO of WASA, Errol Grimes, who is responsible for people all over the country suffering for water till they can’t take it anymore.

This sufferation has been going on for years, since the PNM, under Patrick Manning took over after the blighted UNC corrupted themselves to death, and gave the arrogant PNM bandits yet another oil boom to fatten their friends and family and suck the Treasury dry.

Mark my words, plenty PNM people will be making plenty jail, and there will be no place to hide, because both the bandits and their ill-gotten gains will be brought back to TnT from whatever corner of the earth they are hidden, and retribution will

be swift and their bamsees will get good softening in TnT’s notorious jails.

Hee! Hee! Hee!

When that time arrives, and the hour of justice is upon the wicked, let them not weep and wail and gnash the pegs of their bam bam as they try to avoid the jailhouse wrath that will come upon them, this evil generation of PNM vipers and white-collar, lock-neck robbers.

Kyah! Kyah! Kyah!

WASA (against whom the Flagsman is in no way alleging corruption), like so many State enterprises since the PNM took over the government, has been loaded with incompetent party hacks, manifestly square pegs in round holes, whose claim to suitability for their positions is the ubiquitous PNM party card, and whose presence at WASA has caused that organisation to be renamed “PNM Party Group Number Two”.

If I may digress somewhat, and I really cyar help this one, because it brings to mind one time that den of wicked, unconscionable, advantageous, evil, blood-sucking vampires, which is that notorious “PNM Party Group Number One”, TSTT.

This vicious TSTT, which has brought untold suffering, misery and downright mediaeval-style torture over the years to consumers, via its long-lived monopoly, is now trying to polish its image by spending -- actually wasting and squandering -- taxpayers’money in a last ditch stand in its losing battle against newcomer Digicel, the Irish international giant.

The Flagsman is saying again that people should take all the freeness that TSTT (or Bmobile, or whatever they choose to call it), and then change over to Digicel lock, stock and barrel.

TSTT must be forced to close shop and send all those high salaried executives and their arrogant minions to sell pudden with a flambeau and coalpot under a Chinee man shop, because that is all these people deserve.

Heh! Heh! Heh!

Breds, I really enjoying this digression on those imps at TSTT, but methinks I digress too much, so back to WASA.

Imagine that things so bad with the water situation in this country that even die-hard, fanatical PNMites in “PNM till Ah Dead” territory (including La Brea and Point Fortin, which some years ago was called the “Capital of Grenada”, ah fuss it was over-run with illegal Grenadians), demonstrating and getting on bad and cussing their dearly beloved PNM.

Man, even Hedwidge Bereaux, formerly of Chaguanas, and PNM MP for La Brea (who is soon to get shafted by Hazel “Madame Breakfasses” Manning for that “sure seat”) reached the end of the line, when he cried out in despair:

“It is a long time since I have seen the water situation in the country get so terrible.

“I believe the situation could have been handled in a better and more professional manner by the water authority.”

What Bereaux didn’t want to say, the Old Flags will say here and now: the man to blame for all the suffering is WASA’s CEO Errol Grimes.

The Flagsman even understands that Grimes and his cohorts are charging people in San Fernando and certain areas for sewerage connections when they have none and are using outdoor latrines, in other words, shithouses.

Shithouse Award

This Shithouse Award is
meritoriously given to
WASA’s CEO, ERROL
GRIMES . Heh! Heh! Heh!

Errol boy, for such unpardonable sins against a long-suffering populace, the Flagsman is giving you a Shithouse Award, in which sewerage closet they should keep you for life … far away from WASA.

Haar! Haar! Haar! Take dat in yuh kangkalang!

Another seta people deserving of a collective Latrine Award, and more, are those at the Vehicle Maintenance Company of TnT (VMCOTT).

These people, subsidised by the State to maintain State-owned and other State-connected vehicles, have run the company into the ground after several years in “de govament wuk”, to the point where VMCOTT is on the verge of collapse, with millions of dollars in the red.

Already, allegations of racket and corruption, PNM-style, are flying fast and furious

And talk is that when Manning get vex again, after Franklin Khan and Eric Williams, jail will be the destiny of certain VMCOTT people.

But space is fast running out on me and I had other things to say, including how the frontish, pushy Oma Panday has come again to mash up the remnants of the UNC by attempting to create a Panday dynasty in TnT politics by pushing her daughters into the scenario.

It’s high time somebody tells this woman that she is the Blight in the UNC and she should keep far from the party with her objectionable, disliked self.

As a matter of fact, Oma should stick close to her friend who is keeping far from politics these days, Lawrence Duprey, the man who gave her “a helping hand” of over a million dollars, and helped out old Bas in the process.

Kif kif, kee kee kee and haw haw haw!

To my few fans, including Lindsay Mackoon, the greatest Night Editor in the Caribbean, who originally came out of the Wilds of Waterloo, and has returned to rusticate there … and to my myriad detractors, I say be of good cheer, take any sex aid you want to get there and ’till next week … keep those flags flying!
