Trinidad is an integral part of the global player, PotashCorp, which
is the largest integrated fertiliser manufacturer in the world.
Ian is a graduate of the University of Windsor, Canada and holds
an honours degree in Applied Science and Chemical Engineering.
He has also completed an executive development programme at the
prestigious Columbia University.
Ian’s sense of patriotism and desire to contribute to our
country’s development, have moved him to accept offers to
serve on the Board of the Regulated Industries Commission, the Port
Authority of Trinidad and Tobago, the University of Trinidad and
Tobago, the National Energy Skills Centre and the Local Organising
Committee for World Cup Cricket 2007.
A gentleman of tremendous talent and skill, Ian brings to the Chamber,
his diverse local and international experience in the petrochemical/energy
sector, the utilities sector, the marine transportation sector,
the education sector and sport.
On a personal note, Ian enjoys sailing, loves sports (particularly
cricket) and has a passion for our local culture and the arts.
He is married to Ligia and they have two daughters, Nicola, 12,
and Anya, nine. |
