BLACKIE

BLACKIE had a successful Carnival this year with
Lef Meh and He Lie.

“Staff Party is a nice and clean song,” he boasted. “It gets away from all the double entendre that’s associated with soca parang these days.”

The track is the first release from his 2007 (12-track) CD, Confession, which is designed to give his fans and calypso lovers “a treat”.

Blackie revealed that Confession, the title track of the CD, would have T&T “rolling with laughter just as he did with Lef Meh”.
