STAMPEDE
- outside Guaracara Park

QUEEN OMEGA

QUEEN OMEGA sang
her heart out.

RICHIE SPICE

RICHIE SPICE does
his thing.

It was like stampede outside Guaracara Park, Pointe-a-Pierre recently as anxious patrons jammed the gates to get in to see the main headline act, Chuck “The People’s Defender” Fenda, in one of the biggest reggae concerts to hit South Trinidad.

The Jamaican artiste smash hit, Gas Dem and Light Dem, earlier this year topped local charts following the brutal murder of six-year-old Sean Luke and again, most recently, surged back up the ladder in the wake of yet another murder -- this time four- year-old Emily Annamunthodo.

The tune calls for equally brutal punishment for those who molest and kill young children.

Fenda delivered and the patrons packed into the park loved him.

Also performing on the night were Richie Spice and local acts Marlon Asher and Queen Omega ... among others.
