In daddy’s footsteps
Iwer launches his son
- into socaland

Iwer’s 16-year-old son, Keilon George, is following in his father’s footsteps.

Keilon, who will perform under the stage name Keil, is set to release his first single, featuring Atlantic Records artiste Kevin Lyttle, later this week.

The groovy soca, Side By Side, is written by the young artiste who has always been instrumental in assisting his father with his songs, his first being Time to Wine in 1992.

Keilon is no stranger to the limelight having first performed with his father in the Spektakula Children’s Show at the early age of five.

Of course, the talent does not stop there as his younger brother, Khadeem, nine, was responsible for Iwer’s 2003 hit, Turn Around (Leh Meh Wine On Yuh Bumper).

Keilon, who intends to attend university to study business administration, is currently attending high school in the US where he plays basketball.

The young man who has lived in both the US and TnT, promises to use what he has learned in both countries to take soca music to another level internationally.

Side by Side will be released exclusively on Trinibashment 91.9FM on Thursday, after its official release on Synergy TV on Wednesday evening.
