PANNIST Earl “Mr. Mellow” Brooks, California-based calypsonian Crazy and Virginia-based Grenadian star performer King Ajamu, and New York-based Tunapuna Scanty were among several Caribbean entertainers who participated in a Big Christmas Weekend Show in Toronto recently.

The show, in support of Toronto’s popular Caribbean “Cook Up” radio programme which airs on Saturdays from 3 – 6 p.m. on 101.3 FM and is hosted by popular entertainer/entrepreneur Elsworth James, was staged on December 10 and 11 at the

Fortress North Banquet Hall in Markham.

Torontonians are still talking about the fabulous time they had when the invasion of entertainers took that city by storm.
