FOR Carnival 2K6, Legacy, under the captaincy of popular “Big Mike” Antoine and his sweetheart, Juliet de la Bastide, created waves of excitement with their presentation, Kingdom.

“We always try to come up with fresh, new ideas and very creative designs and we had a successful Carnival.

“We attracted a good population of fun-loving masqueraders and that made us happy,” Big Mike glowed.

He has every reason to permit himself some measure of self-congratulation since, for the past few years, Legacy has been establishing itself as a year-round business juggernaut, promoting TnT-styled Carnival around the globe.

For Point Fortin’s Borough Day Festival, set for May 6, 2006, Big Mike and Friends will be staging an opportunity for Legacy masqueraders to get another jump in their 2006 Carnival costumes.

Those without a Legacy costume can also be a part of the band as there are costumes and T-shirt packages available.

According to Big Mike, it will be Carnival time again for the Legacy crew, together with 91.9 FM and the Synergy TV soca stars, as they will be on the road with a big 40-foot trailer.

Sunday PUNCH learnt a music video will also be made in the band on the streets of Point Fortin and “we will also be providing round trip transport by bus from Port of Spain”, said an enthused Big Mike from his Robert Street, Woodbrook mas camp.
