Flagship Chutney star Adesh Samaroo:
I’m giving thanks for life

By Anthony 'LEXO' Alexis (Editor)
JUST a few months back, flagship Chutney star, Adesh Samaroo, lay in a coma, his life at death’s door following a tragic vehicular accident in a car in which he was driving.

Doctors at St. James Community Hospital worked around the clock to save Adesh’s life as hope for a full recovery appeared to be at best slim and dismal.

But after weeks in the “twilight zone”, Adesh showed a miraculous recovery, sending his legions of fans into a state of incredible delight.

Now beaming with more than a touch of evangelical fervour, Adesh is giving a “Thanks For Life” Concert, Saturday, November 12, at Skinner Park, San Fernando.

“I’m living a second life.

“I know now how precious life is, and I’m grateful to the Lord for saving my life,” Adesh affirmed.

“I also want to say thanks to all my fans who stood vigil with me and prayed for my successful recovery.

“Their prayers will always be with me,” Adesh added.

At 23, Adesh continues to dominate the Chutney market, and his career is being managed under the guiding direction of Mohan Jaikaran, who has “pulled in” a bevy of New York dancers to celebrate the Return of Adesh.

The honour roll will also include Rupee and his Dot.Com band along with Kees the Band.

JMC Entertainment has a proven track record in staging successful mega events, and Adesh’s Give Thanks For Life Concert, with its sunny religious overtones, is something the country can embrace especially in these crime-infested times.
