UNC cover for sexual predator

A FEMALE employee attached to the Chaguanas Borough Corporation burst into a meeting between two United National Congress (UNC) officials last Tuesday and called for a sexual harassment claim to be investigated.

The distraught woman was reportedly fed-up of victimisation that followed a sexual harassment incident almost three years ago.

It is alleged that one of the UNC officials was the culprit who grabbed at the young woman’s breasts and slapped her buttocks while she was in his office.

Sources told TnT Mirror that the mother of two protested being touched and let herself out of the office.

“The woman complained to her husband, who visited the UNC official’s home and warned him not to make such a mistake again.

“The woman had since been victimised by the UNC official and other colleagues.

“She apparently got fed-up and made her feeling about the sexual harassment known to the other UNC officials with the hope that the matter would be investigated. She had reported the matter to other senior members of staff, but has not gotten any response,” a source from the office disclosed.
