A syringe lay close by.

Following the removal of the corpse to the Forensic Sciences Centre, an autopsy later revealed that Jadoo died as a result of ingestion of a toxic substance.

Investigators ruled the death as suicide.

TnT Mirror was told that a depressed Jadoo had been at UWI since 2001 and had been constantly failing his final year exams.

According to informed sources, he recently received a letter from UWI saying he would not be accepted for the new semester.

He was said to have sunk into further depression because of the letter.

Sources also disclosed to Mirror that Jadoo had to deal with endless personal problems.

“He used to stay away for days from home.

“He lacked love and that was the root of the problem,” a source close to the investigation revealed.

“No one ever cared where he was at any time.

“Yes, he took a good sum of his relatives’ money to buy so much cocaine just to embarrass them.”
