SEVERAL former students of Bishop’s High School were duly recognised and honoured with special awards for demonstrating exemplary entrepreneurial spirit in Tobago at the 82nd Anniversary Founders’ Day Dinner and Awards Ceremony, held at the newly refurbished Bowles Hall of the school in Mt. Marie last Saturday. Attending the gala function were Head of the Anglican Church Bishop Calvin Best, Tobago House of Assembly (THA) Chief Secretary Orville London, MP for Tobago East Eudine Job-Davis and Secretary for Education Youth and Sport Claudia Groome-Duke. Following the lavish dinner there were greetings from President of the Bishop’s Alumni Association Allan Richards, Principal of the School Claire Brathwaite-Alexander and Groome-Duke. Among the persons to receive the Business Entrepreneurship Awards were Adrian Martineau of Martineau Transport and Construction, Carol and George Leacock of Radio Tambrin, Alston Baker of Rapid Response Security Company, Design Architect and Fish Processor and Exporter Emile Louis and guest house owner, Janice Louis-McFarlane.
