Panorama 2012 plays-off on January 19th with the National Single Pan Preliminaries of South/Central Steelbands at Pleasantville Community Grounds, Pleasantville.

The National Finals for Small and Single Pan Steelbands is set for Skinner Park San Fernando on February 16th.

And the National Finals for Medium and Large Steelbands is to be held on Saturday February 18th at the Queen’s Park Savannah.

The National Junior Panorama Finals starts at 9.00 am on Sunday February 12, while the Arima Panorama makes a welcome return to the cultural calendar on Monday February 13 at the Larry Gomes Stadium.

Earlier this month, on January 6, Panorama 2012 was launched in tribute to late pan stalwarts Pat Bishop and Ralph McDonald at the Paddock of the Queen’s Park Savannah.

The President of Pan Trinbago Keith Diaz brought greetings to the many pan lovers who came with their coolers and chipped away to steelband musical vibes.

Minister of Arts and Multiculturalism Winston “Gypsy” Peters delivered the feature address and launched Panorama 2012 on a positive note.
Emceeing the proceedings was Pan Trinbago’s secretary Richard Forteau who introduced grand performances from steelbands Unistars, Kaizen Fuzen, Courts Laventille Sound Specialists, PCS Silver Stars and reigning Panorama Champions Neal and Massy Trinidad All Stars.
